♥ DESCRIPTION: 19th century patinated bronze chandelier, originating from France. This chandelier boasts a rather rare Gothic-style motif. In the past, such chandeliers were frequently employed within churches and were known in French as “pic sierra,” referencing the central spike that securely held a special candle called a “cierge.” Adorned lavishly, this antique candelabra features intricate floral relief patterns throughout its structure. Its ingeniously crafted base is designed with three facets, enhanced by medallions sculpted in the shape of crosses. The cylindrical stem is finely detailed with relief patterns of fleur-de-lys, symbolic of French power and royalty. ⚠ Please note that colors may slightly vary from the photos. ♥ CONDITION: In very good condition, showing signs of age, including a lovely patina. The “peak” is slightly askew (please refer to photos). ♥ HEIGHT: 17″ ♥ WEIGHT: 2.3 lbs
