Small French copper cauldron with lid

♥ DESCRIPTION: Small fabulous antique hammered copper cauldron or stock pot, with a beautiful lid and wrought iron handle. It dates from the 19th century. This is an authentic and historic piece of French traditional cookware. These cauldrons were hung over the coals in the fireplace to stew and simmer copious farm dishes of meat and vegetables. Wonderful today as French kitchen decor, in the fireplace, or anywhere in the home! ♥ CONDITIONS: very good, it has been cleaned but possibly shows signs of use as we can expect from a piece like this, including small stains and mini dents (refer to photos) It’s not pierced. ♥ DIMENSIONS: 7.5 x 6.5″ (Height x Diameter) ♥ WEIGHT: 3.9 lbs (1.8 kg)
